PARKING INFORMATION

PLEA PLEASE PARK IN THE DRIVEWAY DURING YOUR VISIT.

TAKE THE SIDEWALK TO THE LEFT OF THE GARAGE TO THE SHE SHED STUDIO.

 

OUR NEIGHBORHOOD MUST PAY FOR  ALL OF THE ROAD MAINTENANCE FOR DOWNEY THISTLE DRIVE.

FOR THIS REASON, I ASK THAT YOU PARK IN MY DRIVEWAY AND BACK OUT TO LEAVE.

PLEASE AVOID USING THE CUL DE SAC AND PARKING IN THE GRASS.  THIS BREAKS UP THE PAVEMENT AND CREATES MUD.

 

 

PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING  HEALTH POLICY:

1. We will not be following any particular school calendar this year.

2.  We will adjust this schedule if needed.

3.  All lessons will be held in person. Please wash your hands before arrival.

     Restroom is only available in an emergency.

4. Students with any sign of illness must cancel.

 

PLEASE ADHERE TO THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES:

1.  PRACTICE

**All students are expected to practice daily. Repetition is key to learning and proficiency.

**All students are expected to bring all of their lesson books to every lesson, including the Student     Assignment Book. Parents, please check the assignment book weekly for communications regarding schedule, payment, etc.

**Assignments made should be accomplished within one week.  If your student has the same assignment for multiple weeks, they may need to increase their practice time.

2.  LESSON TIMES

**Each student is assigned a lesson time for the school year. 

**Lessons will begin and end on time.  This will apply even if the student arrives late. Extending the lesson would infringe upon the time of another.  Most lessons are 30 minutes; however, this may be increased in special circumstances as time allows. 

**Lessons should not be interrupted by other students or their parents. Please enter the studio no more than 5 minutes before your lesson time and be seated. Please do not wait outside past your lesson time -this will help me stay on schedule. 

**Parents are always welcome to observe their child's lesson. Please feel free to contact me at any time with questions or concerns.

3.  ATTENDANCE

**PLEASE NOTIFY ME OF ANY ABSENCE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, EVEN AT THE LAST MINUTE.

**When notified at least 24 hrs in advance, a reasonable attempt will be made to reschedule the lesson.

**YOU MUST keep your child home if they are sick.  Let me know ASAP if you would like to reschedule.

**Makeup lessons may be on scheduled makeup days, or during other lesson slots as they become available.  All makeup lessons shall occur before the end of the semester. If you forget a makeup lesson, it will not be rescheduled.

**PLEASE WRITE EACH LESSON DATE ON YOUR CALENDAR

**If you have a Monday lesson which is a scheduled holiday, and you will be away, we will reschedule the lesson for later that week if possible.  If you are in town, we can schedule an earlier lesson time if you like.

**Missed lessons due to my cancellation will be rescheduled.

**THERE WILL BE NO FEE ADJUSTMENT FOR LATE ARRIVALS/MISSED LESSONS. This includes makeup lessons.

**Please give 30 days notice if you must discontinue your lessons.

4. TUITION

**THE COST PER LESSON IS $32.

**PAYMENT IS DUE ON THE 1ST DAY OF EACH MONTH, unless you choose to pay at each lesson.  

 BEGINNING JAN. 1ST WE WILL NO LONGER ACCEPT PAYPAL PAYMENTS.

       2022-2023 PRIVATE LESSON SCHEDULE**

 

        SPRING SEMESTER BEGINS JAN 9, 2023

 

Lessons will be held every Monday-Friday, except for the days off listed below.  These are scheduled off for holidays and makeup weeks.

 

The following days will be scheduled off:        

Dec. 12-16. MAKEUPS  (Mon thru Fri) 

Dec.  19 - Jan.  8.  CHRISTMAS BREAK

March 6 -10.  SPRING BREAK  (Mon thru Fri)

March 13 -17.  MAKEUPS  (Mon thru Fri)

April 5 - 11  EASTER BREAK. (Wed thru Tues)

 

LAST DAY OF LESSONS WILL BE MAY 19, 2023.   Makeup lessons will be held the following week.
